This Short-Term Rental Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between the undersigned Guest and The Paloma at Palo Pinto Lake (“Owner”) for the rental of the lakefront property located at 1322 N Lakeview Dr. Palo Pinto, TX 76484 (“Property”).

 

1. Use of Property - The Property shall be used exclusively for residential vacation purposes and may not be sublet. Guest agrees to comply with all rules and regulations for the Property.

2. Liability and Hold Harmless  - By signing this Agreement, Guest agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the Property Owner and its agents from any liability, claims, damages, or injuries that may occur during the rental period, including those caused by use of the lake, swim areas, or any other amenities.

3. Swim at Your Own Risk - Guests acknowledge that swimming in the lake is at their own risk. The Owner assumes no responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or drowning incidents.

4. Loft Area Use at Your Own Risk - The loft area of the Property may contain risks (such as height or limited space) and is to be used at the Guest’s own risk. The Owner is not liable for any injuries related to the use of this area.

5. Property Condition - Guest agrees to return the Property in the same condition it was provided. Any damages or excessive cleaning fees may be deducted from the security deposit.

6. Check-In and Out Times - Check-In is at 3pm and Check out is at 11am.

6. Governing Law - This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Texas and any disputes will be handled in [Parker County, Texas].
